Don't even bother, I spent months trying to resolve this. They don't care.
I submitted my registration with them on 18th July, amended my incomplete data around the 20th, and passionately waited for about 3 weeks. After that, I submitted a ticket requesting an update every 2 weeks for about 4 months. Nobody ever responded except repeating that they are sorry and it's out of their control.

Called Get Your Guide directly. Not interested in helping.
Just kept repeating policy. I had no control over airline cancellation and tried to cancel 17 hours before excursion.
We missed our connecting flight to KEF because the flight out of Atlanta was 2 hours late so we missed our connecting flight. Even though we contacted get your guide 12 hours before the tour, they would not issue a refund.

No, it hasn't been resolved. The best they could do was to offer me, only if I removed my negative ratings of them, a $25 certificate good towards any tour, for a period of one year.They are experts at hiding out and not responding. They believe good customer service involves making the customer too sick and tired to continue persuuing their complaints.
9:00 am, nothing. Between 9:00 am and 9:30 am, I wrote to Get Your Guide on the app and tried to call them. No response whatsoever! At 9:45 am, they wrote an email with no reference to anything, stating that our tour had been cancelled.
I have spent more than 3 hours since that time trying to get compensated for our loss. They ask many questions, then just fall off the earth. My advice is, don't use them. I've used Booking.com more often and things have always worked out.
If not, they respond and fix things.
This company is a good one to avoid. Not only is their customer service horrible, but they waste your time answering questions, only to then just be ignored.

I was calling to ask what happened to my bookings. The person helping me, Hes gone.
He was not able to help me with it, he got cut off and will get back to me. Hes suppose to check my activities. All my activities for Madrid are gone and my card was charged. What those charges are?

On 16.11.2025, an amount of 822 CZK was charged from my Visa card for a GetYourGuide booking.
I was informed that the refund would be processed within 3 days, but I still haven't received the money.
Please check the refund status and confirm when the funds will be credited back to my card.

Verified ReviewerNormally, I would give GYG a very high rating, but I was not satisfied, nor were the other three people who had signed up for the floating markets tour.
I already submitted a review about my experience. Signed up for the floating markets and railway markets tour but had no idea how far away was the meeting point.
With the heavy congested traffic, it took around 50 minutes to get there. I texted the guide about this and got no response. Got there at 9:10 and the tour was gone. 3 others then showed up with the same thing.
Called the activity provider: no reschedule offer or refund. We were screwed and stranded.
Got the same feedback when called GYG. We were not happy tourists![]()

Missed your tour due to a flat tire. Notified that all future tours were booked.
Looked online the next day and there was availability for the same tour two days later.
Tried every means possible to book the available tour in place of the $1,000.00 tour we missed. Unable to get to the correct resource to get the credit applied.

Terrible service
I booked a surf lesson while in Tenerife for my son. The night before the surf school cancelled because it was a group booking & only my son was doing it.
I was told I could pay an extra 50 euros for a one to one lesson or get my money back I chose that. Im still fighting GYG to receive my refund!!! They are absolutely rubbish.
This was not my fault in the first place. I will not let the lie, but will never use them again!!!![]()

I am so disappointed with GetYourGuide. We run the Breaking Bad RV tours in Albuquerque, New Mexico, which are one of the most popular tours in the state, and GetYourGuide has not activated our product.
So we decided to go through TripAdvisor and Groupon and visit ABQ to sell our tickets. What a big loss for GetYourGuide. I'm still willing to give you another shot if we can get activated. We have done everything we can do to satisfy our ad, and your company is unreachable.
I'm sorry; I'm very disappointed. If we are able to resolve this, I will remove this review and turn it into a positive one, but as of right now, we are very disappointed.
Half of our season is gone, and now we're coming to the end of our busy season. What a loss for GetYourGuide.
User's recommendation: I do not recommend any business owners to use GetYourGuide at this point because we have not been able to activate our ad and sell tickets through get your guide. Maybe your interaction with them has been positive but we have had nothing but negative. We can’t reach them by phone or even talk to anybody to get our ad active. I’m willing to take this Review down and turn it into a positive one if someone from get your guy gets back with us.

I have a supplier account after approval and verification in a long process. Once I had a payout and bookings, they disabled my account, and I didn't receive my money. They didn't even tell me why.
